A Home Soft wash is a cleaning method that incorporates a low-pressure stream and special solution to remove bacteria, mildew, algae, lichen, and other organic strains on your home's exterior and roof. It is more efficient and highly recommended over pressure washing or power washing because the pressure is very low and soft, and therefore it does not cause any harm to your homes surfaces. This helps to ensure that we maintain the structural integrity and proper function of the materials.  This process is highly effective and very efficient when cleaning the exterior surfaces of your home and will leave you worry free knowing that you will not have any repair cost incurred. 

Some of the benefits: keeps your residence healthy, helps preserve your homes materials, roofing, and other fixtures from getting damaged from high pressure. This service encompasses everything from the roofs edges down to the ground. This service does not include the inside of the gutters, sidewalks, driveways, or restoration services. (Stain Removal).

No, our soft washing process will not in any way affect the structural integrity of the materials or surfaces of your home. It may reveal some imperfections in surfaces that were not visible prior to cleaning, but during the on-site estimate, we will inspect all surfaces for imperfections or potential areas that may result in a different appearance once the surface has been cleaned. We will inform our clients of all the imperfections or possible changes prior to starting any service requested. We will only move forward upon approval from the client once on site.

Our high pressure services will also not damage any of your homes hard surfaces such as concrete, stone, paver, or brick. Our employees are properly trained in the operation of our high pressure equipment and know the correct operating procedures for each type of surface being cleaned. We put a lot of effort into making sure that our equipment is equipped with the appropriate attachments and accessories to perform its duties with quality results. At no point in time will we overuse our equipment and cause damage to any surface that requires high pressure for cleaning. 

The time to soft wash a home in Etowah or surrounding counties can vary on many factors including the type of siding, size of home, water flow of the property, and the amount of build-up on the house. On average, our typical house wash project takes between 2-3 hours.

 It is recommended that you get your home washed once per year but this could vary based on a few factors. If you prefer to keep your house looking fresh year-around then a yearly cleaning is a good choice. We also recommend once per year if you are concerned about algae spores and bacteria in the air. If any of the above items are what drives you to keep your home clean then getting your siding cleaned on a yearly basis is the best option for you.

In some cases you can wait upto 2 years before having your siding cleaned, but it really depends on how much sunlight your house gets and how much shade your siding gets throughout the day.

Short Answer is NO. Oxidation, such as the gray color/stripes on your gutters or the white chalky substance found on your vinyl siding, is an inorganic matter (This will require our restoration services, and is NOT considered a cleaning project). Although we do offer restoration services, it is only available upon the customers request. So if this is a service that you are interested in, please be sure to let us know when we explain our findings during our estimate process and we will be happy to assist. 

This is a great question! Here at Veterans Southern Pro Wash, we recommend cleaning your roof a minimum of 1 time every 2 years. In some cases, we can do a yearly and only wash a north side of a roof which is where it will be most noticeable. Just like many other things, the longer it sits through the changing weather and temperatures, the harder the surface is to clean. This is why some customers conduct a Roof Wash once per year. This then becomes more of a maintenance wash to help manage the mold and algae growth and doesn't utilize more chemicals to clean. It's easier and cheaper to maintain than to do a complete deep clean to remove the hard dirt and grime that has been baked on through changing temperatures. Ultimately, you the client gets to decide what best fits your budget and situation. 

Yes! We are able to clean any exterior surface, whether it has a stain or just normal dirt and grime build-up. This includes brick, stone, pavers, wood, concrete, vinyl, and so much more. There is not surface that we cannot clean for our clients. 

Yes, Veterans Southern Pro Wash LLC performs exterior window cleaning services as of this time. We will clean the windows with our house washing solution which is meant to make the windows look clean and clear. However, we do not brush or squeegee windows after our clean water rinse of the home unless otherwise requested by the client. 

Our process will not damage plants when applied correctly, however we will always recommend that items like small potted plants be removed from the areas that will be cleaned since those particular soils are not able to dissipate any chemical contact and can end up more concentrated. Essentially, this will cause the plants to act different than normal ground plants which have a lot more soil to dissipate the chemicals that we use. Rest assure, that all other plants will not be damaged during our services as we perform special techniques to ensure that your plant life around your home continues to thrive and flourish as usual. 

Yes, we do offer window screen cleaning services as well. If there is any damage to a particular screen, we will not provide a screen cleaning service for that particular window or screen. Due to the potential risk for further damage we are not able to touch any previously damaged surfaces due to insurance policies and liabilities. 

In some cases yes, windows may have some small hard water spots, but you should not see streaking on the window. However, we will do our best to prevent this by directing our washing chemicals away from the windows surface, thus eliminating any further services needed. We will also ensure that we provide a good clean water rinse to remove the solution from the window and we will check all windows prior to leaving to make sure that there not overly spotty for our clients as a courtesy to you. 

Yes, as a risk mitigation step for our employees and insurance liabilities, we ask that our clients move ALL vehicles, potted plants, decorations, patio furniture, etc., from the surfaces/area that is going to be cleaned. We will not (unless requested) move any customer property or items (potted plants, grills, patio furniture, etc.) as we cannot be held responsible if damages occur or in some cases, something gets broken. As a courtesy, if a client ask for us to move any of the above listed items, we will ensure that we make note of it in our estimate you receive and accept stating that we will not be held liable for any damage or imperfections that may arise. 

In most cases, utilizing a pressure washing service provider will improve the value of your home. No, you do not need to be home in order for Veterans Southern Pro Wash LLC to perform any pressure washing services. We have multiple methods incorporated into our business program that allows us to give you a step by step update of our progress with your property. Now with that, we would always prefer our clients to be home so that we can conduct a final walk inspection together and handle any discrepancies or questions while on site. If you are not home, that's ok, we will simply have you conduct a walk around when you do get home to confirm that you are satisfied with your results. 

If rain is present on the day of service, in most cases we will still be present to conduct services as requested. We will wash in the cold, hot, windy, and rainy weather! However, if it is lightning or other increased risk like tornadoes, we will have to postpone the washing until our next available day. We may even postpone for a few hours just until the heart of a storm passes and no lightning has occurred within a 30 minute period of time. At this point, we will continue on with the services you requested. 

Yes! We specialize in removing the "green stuff" from your homes surfaces. The "green stuff" otherwise known as algae, is an organic substance that our cleaning process not only removes, but it also kills the spores and keeps it away for a longer period of time.

We will go as high as we need to assist our clients with their exterior cleaning request. We have access to the proper machines and tools necessary to accomplish any task you have no matter how high it is. 3. Special Equipment to ensure that services are performed correctly with minimal risk involved cost a lot of money.

4. Labor rates have increased over the last (2) years and now it cost double to employ just (1) employee. 

5. In order to keep up with the industry standard we must rise as the market and demand rises to stay in business or we get shut down just as any other business would.

6. If a home is not properly maintained, than it takes more time and material to ensure that the services requested are completed with the utmost satisfaction possible.

We, as a professional service, can offer a 1-Star price or we can offer you our 5-Star price. For those providers that offer you lower pricing, here is the inherent risk to you as a homeowner:
